I don't know what the weather with you has been like, but here in North Devon, we have been shrouded in mist for the past couple of days. It's been sparking off some ideas for new artwork... but that's for another time!
Today, I wanted you to be the first to know about new work that is coming out soon. I've been working on some new paintings of two of my local beaches here - Instow and Greysands, Appledore.
I have been experimenting with a pared down palette and simplified, abstracted mark making to produce a calm, meditative experience when viewing the painting. I am really pleased with how they look and can't wait to share them with you. They are currently at the framers and will be heading onto my website soon - I'll let you know when they are due to launch with further details.
